I have a user who upgraded recently to XP Pro and is using an ancient DOS
accounts app and an EPSON LX300+ dot matrix printer
Everything is working, but unlike on W98se, there is a 30-60 second delay
before printing starts.

i purchased a new western digital usb 2.0  external harddrive (model
#WD800B008-RNN), after hookup xp installed the driver.
when i look in 'my computer' it does not appear, but when i look in the
device manager or drive management it shows up as 'WDC USB2 drive O:.

I connect a PS/2 keyboard via an active USB adaptor to a notebook with
XP. If num lock is on, every time I press one of the four arrow keys he
does also act as if PrintScreen was pressed.
How can that be?

The tilt function on my intellimouse explorer 4.0 doesent
work.
I think its because the HID Input service isnt started.
I tried to start it but I get an errror saying that the

i keep getting a message that this system has recovered
from a serious error. it asks me to send for an error
report which mentions somthing about a device driver.
don't understand how to fix.

I've spent the day looking for a driver for this four and
a half year old motherboard.  The USB port is not being
found by Windows XP and I can't run my broadband

not support MMX.  Yet it is a Pentium 4 1700Mhz.
