My DVD playewr does not what to work.  My drive will play
cds but will not play the dvds...it just does error and
then will not shut down.  Then asks if I want to send an
error report.

We use a software package called Solid edge, which uses a dongle controlled license. The problem is that Windows XP (pre installed on a workstation) does not seem to recognise any dongles as being present. Windows XP is recognising the dongle on a couple of other workstations ...

I have a problem with my Sidewinder force feedback pro.  I
get no forces in the joystick if I have any other joyspads
connected to my PC.  This has in fact always been the case
with this joystick (and the Force feedback games I play).

I just bought a 250GB 7200RPM 2MB Cache Hard Drive passing
up the 8mb cache option.  The same HD with a bigger cache
was $30 bucks more.  How much of a performance difference
does the cache make?
