When my new xp computer is off, the video card remains connected to my
network which is in turn connected to the internet thru a router.

Both my two machines, XP home and pro, appear to have lost their CD-Rom
autoplay facility, both for the CD and DVDs. I can still open or run CDs and
DVDs but I'd like the autoplay back.
Yes, autoplay is ticked in Properties.
