I receive the error "the disk in drive A is not
formatted.  Do you want to format it now?" with any
floppy disk that I insert in the drive.  These floppy
have data on them and you can retrieve the data with ease

I have unloaded and loaded the drives with and without rebooting and
phisically removing and reinstalling one at a time.

I just recently bought a new 40 gig hard drive and
installed it, partitioned it, formatted etc. It works fine
but for some odd reason when I installed a game and then

After installing xp, the pc when told to shut down / turn off, hangs on the
final screen, stating that it is now safe to turn off the pc, is there
anyway to force the pc to totally turn itself off?

Ok, so I have a Linux partition that I'm not using, so I
want to add that space to my D drive. Now, I could delete
both and then make a new partition from the free space,
but then I'd lose everything on the D drive. So, is there

I have a dvd rom that is disabled by windows and it will
not enable and in the device manager it is marked with a
red X what does this mean? it says it is disabled and

only thing I have as far as trouble codes is a code 22.

If i buy a 250 GB Drive and divide it into 2 125 GB
partitions will in work with an old, non SP1 version of
XP.  My PC isn't connected to the interent so I have never
