2.0/Firewire card, I bought a semi-generic Ali 8-port FireWire/USB 2.0
PCI card for $26, and now I'm wondering if they all are slow or if
it's a bad interaction with my motherboard or something.

I keep getting this error message when I boot my system.
What is the SM bus and where can I get the device driver
for it.

I got a new 250GB hard drive today, and used computer managment to set up a single primary partition, then started to format (NTFS file system).

Could someone tell me what brand name hard drive I need to purchase for the
HP computer? HP used to use Maxtor, I was told, but since they merged with

I have something lodged inside my Natural Keyboard Pro and I'd like to

XP says there are no conflicts and all the hardware is
working properly. But when I put a disc into any drive: the
floppy, cd, dvd, or zip, it acts like there is nothing
