I am thinking about buiding my own PC, and have had trouble finding out if motherboards come with the CPU alreay installed. Does anyone know if they do, or if the CPU has to be also purchased as an addition?

If I do a cold boot of my computer the bios does not recogonize the IDE channel the hard drives are on. This results in the message that no operating system is found. I have to shut it down and restart a couple of times before the bios reconizes the hard drives.
