I am thinking about buiding my own PC, and have had trouble finding out if motherboards come with the CPU alreay installed. Does anyone know if they do, or if the CPU has to be also purchased as an addition?

i installed a hp 1010 laser printer a couple of weeks ago

I was wondering if anyone can help me with my problem.
I have windows XP pro and a canon zr60 camcorder.  When I connect the canon
camcorder to my computer through my firewire cable, windows DOES NOT detect

If I do a cold boot of my computer the bios does not recogonize the IDE
channel the hard drives are on. This results in the message that no
operating system is found.  I have to shut it down and restart a couple of
times before the bios reconizes the hard drives.

I have a P4 2.4, Ga-8SIMLH m/b, 384mb ddr266 with a ATI

I am having a problem with my DVD+RW drive. The drive
will no longer pick up DVD+RW's but has no problem
picking up any other type of disc (DVD+R, CD-R etc). This
has only happened recently and the drive has picked up

We had to reinstall Windows XP, and after installing the
modem again, we get Error 633. I have checked to see if
anything else was in conflict with the modem, or anything
else was active, but it isn't. I made sure all the

After periods of no activity, I'll come back to a blank
screen with the message "Invalid boot diskette, insert

I just built a new system using 2 SATA 80GB Western
Digital hard drives.  I did NOT configure them to use
RAID.  My BIOS recognizes both hard drives.  But when I
installed XP, the operating system is only recognizing 1

My DELL PC has a built-in option under its BIOS to boot from a USB HD and it
also allows me to hit F12 key during power-up and select to boot from the
internal HD, CD drive, or a USB HD.
Has anyone been able to get this to work?  If yes, Can you please tell me
