has anyone ever had there cd-rw drive just disappear from
the computer? well today i went to use my cd-rw drive and
it is nowhere to be found the drive wont even open.... i
went into my computer to where the drives are and it isnt

Why does my CD-RW drawer eject for no apparent reason. It does this
sometimes at bootup and at other times right in the middle of a session? I
merely close the door and continue, but it's aggravating.

I finally upgraded my system to 2 identical sticks of Crucial (Micron)
PC3200 400Mhz DDR 512 megs (total 1 gigs) of RAM. The part number of the
modules are CT6464Z40B

I have a motherboard  PIII Soyo SY-7VBA133U and a video card GeForce2 MX400
with 64MB, the problem is: Windows XP SP1 only recognizes 32MB

I'm running a Dell Latitude C600 Laptop with a Teac CD-RW drive.  When i boot into windows, it is not in My Computer.  I go into Device Manager but it says
"Windows successfully loaded the device driver for this hardware but cannot find the hardware device. (Code 41)
