Unable to Access Hard Drive19 May 2004 18:08 GMT1
I am unable to access my hard drive which is set up as
slave.  I keep getting the message "File is corrupt &
unreadable". I have been told that my Master File Table
needs to be repaird and that I have to re-initalize and

Got a "120Gb" external usb drive, yet when i look at it
in various ways, it only shows up with 115Gb usable
space.  Nothing on it at all at this point, and it is
formatted Fat32, I'm planning on formatting it NTFS (I

One afternoon, about four months ago, I was ripping CD
tracks to my second hard drive (F) and suddenly, I was
confronted with an error message in the system tray
reading "Delayed Write Failure" followed by some

I have a dell P4 running XP.  Was getting an error message that says the
hard drive is going bad.
Borrowed an external hard drive and down loaded all the files.  Except the 7
home movies (in .avi format) would not transfer.

Could someone please recommend an external backup device? I am thinking on
the lines of a dvd writer perhaps from sony or hp. What software can I use
for backup?

My display started squeezing down (Dali like) in the bottom.   I have two XP
Pro computers plugged into this monitor, and pressing the INPUT button to
switch between computers, the other computer displays fine.
Is my video card dead?   Or is there something else to look at.

I have installed a USB floppy station on my computer. The
problem is that it is called (B:) instead of (A:). I
really need it to be station (A:). Anybody who knows how
to change this?

I was using a wireless microsoft optical mouse, and I used it with
rechargable batteries.
I got bored of changing the batteries all the time so got another one with a
cable (optical too).

Hello all, I recently had a mysterious problem with Unknow Partitions
after I re-imaged my os partition with DeployCenter.  The restored
image worked fine, but I couldn't see my 2 other partitions.  Both
