Installed windows XP Pro with SP1 on my new hard drive. It is a 160GB hard
drive, but i have just noticed it actually showing as 31.4GB. Any idea why
XP does not see the rest and how can i fix this?

pro. every time i attempt it it say the driver does not
comply with windows logo testing or something along those

After turning off, my PC immediately turns on. The same happens when I use the PC's start button. There is only one way to turn it off - unplug it. Is it XP or hardware problem

My CD-RW drive can not format or burn CD. It's acting
like a CD-ROM.
I've try NERO and Direct CD software but the drive just

I have reviewed everything at Alex Nichol's site as well as others and
have a strange problem...........when trying to load a program that uses
multiple CD's, I can only open the CD door twice to insert new disks,
and then it is "unavailable." Right-clicking on the CD-Drive icon ...

Recently, XP's built in CD writing wizard has completely
stopped working, and Windows is treating the drive as a
normal CD-ROM drive, even though My Computer still
says "DVD/CD-RW drive (R:)".

hi. i hope you can help me. i installed a software which
is Nero Burning Rom for my CD-RW, after that i noticed
that my CD-drives are disabled and removed from my
computer . when i go to device manager there is a ! sign

I recently upgraded my PC OS to MS XP.  Unfortunately, I am unable to write to my CDR-CDRW.  I uninstalled the Adaptec Direct CD software because it's not supported by XP.  Now I'm unable to writer to the burner
I did modify the registry to ensure XP recognized the drive as ...
