My Fujitsu notebook came with a C and a D drive which I
assume are just partitions of the single drive.  The C is
only 3.5 gb and the balance is on the D.  This creates a
problem of low disk space when I try to download service

I have had my MS Optical Intellimouse Explorer 3 for
several years now. And lately I've been having problems
with the movement of the mouse. I've tried using different

I have a combo CD-RW / DVD-ROM drive installed on my PC.  This drive is
classified as CD-ROM 1 by Windows XP.  Every time the PC reboots it forgets
the drive letter allocated to it.  When I go to the Disk Management
application I can assign a drive letter to and it works OK.

Ok, particulars.
WinXP SP1, P750, 512RAM BCM Motherboard, USR Performance Pro Modem 56K.
Brand new modem. Install, Modem Diagnostics fine. Installed w/o problem.
Dial service provider.

Why doesn't the scroll button work with Word and Excel VBA
screens using Microsoft's mouse drivers. The scroll button
works fine in Explorer, Word, Excel etc.

I like to use the "write these files to cd" for copying files to my cdr.  
However writting only one (1) file and then ejecting the cd for later use
results in the cdr being finalized.
Then I cannot write anything else to the cd.

I have SP2 installed and am curious if there are any issues with it regarding
repair installation of XP - I'm changing my motherboard.
Should I un-install SP2 before the attempt?

Sorry to gatecrash this newsgroup but I am desperate.
I had to format my hard drive as there was a problem and
since then I cannot get my pc to show 256 colors just 16.
Also my pixels is set at 640x480 and I cannot set it on

I have a Dell Inspiron 1100 and reinstalled XP Home edition with quick
formating the hard drive.  Everything went well. When I tried to install a PC
camera, the wizard detected it but "Found New Hardware Wizard" window gave me
