I just did the update this morning to SP2 and now my
Firewire drive won't copy files or folders, XP-sp2 halts
the drive now. It worked fine this morning on my laptop
with XP-sp2 and it works fine on my Win2k.

I have connected Laptop1 (running WinXP) Laptop2
(running Win2000 Prof) with a cross Network cable for
file transfer. But I donot see each other after
connecting. Sharing is enabled both sides.

Was browsing on the internet about 2 weeks ago and downloading a couple of
softwares (saved the files on my pc for later installation) and had just
updated-via the internet- my windows xp about that period too, when all of a
sudden my cd rom drive tray just automatically shot out ...
