I had to reinstall windows xp on my computer.  Had to buy the new windows xp
upgrade.  The problem is, everything was installed on my C Drive.  There is
nothing on the D Drive. I have no room left on C Drive. Its all taken up by
windows xp.  what do i do????

I am running XP Pro SP2.  My Seagate ATAPI 20BG Travan
(Specific model tape drive is unimportant) tape drive is
seen by the OS (POST, Device Manager and the Removable

I have just split my Hard disk into 2 partitions and formated it, with

I started FDISK and followed the instructions on deleting the partition.
i deleted the primary part.
then tried to delete the ext. part. and it said cant delete while logical
drive exist.

Does anyone know of a FDD that XP Pro will recognize WITHOUT installing a

Here is a second look at this problem.  The registry key for Nodrives
has been deleted from several of our machines.  I suspect application
problems or operating system problems, rather than user problems:
(1) Our users are not using regedit to remove the registry key.

We bought a new Dell PC recently.  The memory is 4.0GB DDR
SDRAM.  We can see '4GB memory' shown in BIOS.  But from
Windows XP, it shows 3.6GB Memory.  Does anybody know why
we loose about a half GB memory?  What can we do to make
