I have a NTFS error wich Im not able to fix. WHen the computer booted
today, it gave me a NTFS error, and said the disk had to be checked
for consistency. It did the check and found no errors. When XP
started, I did a chkdsk on the drive and it found no errors. But every

Hi, Can anyone please explain to me why my USB 2.0 30GB external hard drive
all of a sudden is not being recongized by my Laptop. It used to work fine,
even under USB 1.1 as that is what my laptop uses. I've tried using the HD on

My Windows XP Pro computer suddenly stopped recognizing my printer connected
to the parallel port. The printer maker (HP) suggests that I change a Port
setting in Setup. Normally, this means pressing F2 when the computer first
starts to go the Setup area.

Since I installed XP service pack 2, my computer will not startup into
XP if I disable power management in the system BIOS. The computer
continuously resets and restarts the computer (XP splash screen is

For some reason the sound on my Windows XP Professional System stopped
working and when I rebooted the machine I keep getting a "Found New
