I have a problem. I have a pc in my network with one harddrive, 3 network
drives and one dvd-drive.
Everytime someone uses a usb memory device, the device is stored under a
driveletter already in use by the networkdrive. Of course, I can change the

When re-installing XP, not updating, but actually re-installing, does the XP
installation re-format the harddrive?  I know it deletes everything from the
computer, but does is actually re-format the harddrive as well?

Does Windows XP Home Edition have a limit on the amount of RAM it can
properly manage?  My system runs fine with 512mb, but everytime I try to

After installing sp2 (on winxp pro) it seems I no longer have a scan wizard.
I have removed the scanner from device manager and let xp find it again but
this doesn't help.
