I built a new computer a three weeks ago. The motherboard supports hardware raid with the silicon image chips and driver. I set up two drives in a RAID 1 configuration. I have the raid set partitioned as C: and D:.

I just made a fresh install of XP Pro SP1 on a new PC with a SCSI disk as boot drive. Everything went fine, until I removed the XP install CD from the CD drive. Since that time, I got at boot time:

I'm running a pretty old machine ASUS MB, AMD k6III 450, ~190MB, XP Pro sp2. I have 2 HDs, one (C:) 8GB and one 40GB, both Max, both worked fine till to day. The BIOS can see and recognize both, XP does not see the second one any

It seems that all of the USB adapters for infrared and bluetooth that I can find support only USB 1.1. Am I looking in the wrong places or is this the "state of the art" or something?
