I would like to replace my c-drive with a larger drive and not have t re-install Windows XP and all my applications. Is there a way to mak a disk image of the c-drive, copy the image to the larger drive an switch disks?

When I connect my LG GSA 4082B DVD writer to my computer via an external IDE to USB2 box I get a message saying it would be better to connect it to A high speed USB2 input. It already is connected to USB2. It works fine, at speed etc, no problems just this message.

Updated five pcs to SP2, they don't let me see the monitor, it freezes just before logon....the same happened since installation so that I was wondering why I wasn't able to complete installation of the OS... while It simply freezed, in fact booting in VGA

I want to upgrade my harddisk of my laptop. I did copy the C and D partition to the new disk with Partition Magic When I have the disk external it does boot on this new disk. When I put the new disk internal it states I have to reactivate XP.

I can't burn CDs after installing SP2. I am using XP's native software. I CAN read CDs, though. I thought maybe I need to update the driver for the CD drive, but when I look in the device manager, where should I find the CD drive? Should it be under "Drives"? Or somewhere ...

In disk management I cannot see my disk volumes as is reported at boo up by the computer; they are all out of order. I have 2 SATA and 1 ID hard drive with a zip and a dvd. The SATA drives should be 1 and 2 Windows knows this because I can chose which drive to boot wit

Money is kinda tight and am looking for cheapest safest way to make full use of self installed (already done) 40 gig drive which is now named e: on a Dell dimension desktop. c: drive is 7 gig, fat32 file sys, only 600 meg is now free.
