WinXP Pro SP2 Ghost 9 using the floppy disc it makes. Had two installs of Windows one on a SATA drive, one on an ATA drive. I could boot from eitther.

For some reason the past few days evertime windows starts it pops up with the add new hardware box wanting drivers for the IDE Channel. But it wont install the drivers and gives the following error. There was a problem installing this hardware:

I installed new ram the other day, and had to reset the BIOS in order to do so. Now I have lost my CDRW and DVD drives, they get boot error : the Sec Master is ATAPI Incompatible followed by the Sec Salve is ATAPI Incompatible. I can boot into Windows and see them correctly ...

I just upgraded to XP from WindowsME. I have a 20GB hard drive. After the upgrade the drive shows a capacity of ~18.3GB (I am assuming XP reserves the space necessary on the HD to ensure that windows functions properly). About 15GB are shown as being used by the c drive and ...
