greeting,
i have install windowxp profesional, but many time mouseclick on link
(internet expore) does not work correct. either no nothing work, or page not
come in front of browzer.  almost feel like dead link, but not dead.

I read in a PC magazine that it is normal to clean a mobo filled with dust
with plain tap water.

Awhile back my display will not come on when my Dell laptop starts or
restarts. I have to what for it to stop loading and then I have to depress
the Fn + brightness keys and the screen turns on. What is going on here?

So I went and splurged on a Dual Layer burner.Installed it into my system.A7N8
deluxe MOBO with one SATA drive,1 IDE drive,1 LG DVD burner,a Barton 2500 with
1gig of 3200 DDR ram ,Radeon 9600 video,2 fans as well as a Hauppauge PVR 250
card running on a 350w PSU.

I've installed the Leadtek WinFast TV2000XP Expert card on a ASUS P5AD2
Premium MB with the OS XP SP2.
My problem:
When I stop recording the PWR software freeze and I can't even shut down the

I'm trying to write a large number of files to a CD using 1 of the 2 drives
on my system - an NEC DVD rewriter and a Mitsumi CD rewriter.
For some reason - at the very end of the process - I get an error message
saying that there is no cd in the drive, whichever drive I try using.

I have an Ezonics web cam that I was anxious to use...when I open a program
to use it, the little green light turns on...so far so good, but when the
display window pops up, instead of a live picture there's a grey screen.

Can a 170MB PCMCIA HDD be a stand alone bootable hard drive?  If so how do I
set it up?  The laptop I would like to do this on is a toshiba 1400-S151 with
XP-Pro installed(C:\).  Windows Explorer shows the HDD Card as E:\  I do not
know how to, or even if I can have a HDD boot ...

I am having a persistent error on an ASUS A78nx-x, updated bios, etc.  
am getting IO_ERR_CONTROLLER_ERROR on disks 1 through 4. Problem is,
only have one HD.  The D drive is a DVD.  I have checked the bios, n
drives unaccounted for.  Have replaced cables.  Have been to M$ t

I've just replaced my primary hard disk after believing that the last two
system failures have been due to a failure of the disk, which showed up as
various programs reporting various disk errors:  e.g. run Norton disk doctor
(without 'Fix Errors' checked) and it reports disk ...
