Does anyone know if  there is any device similar to a "Y" connector that
would allow the same image from a single graphics card to be sent to two
monitors?

After installing windows XP SP2 plus a CD/writer windows automaticaly
reboots when clicking on shutdown. This occurs only when ACPI is enabled.
There is no windows fault report  at shutdown as I know this will cause a
reboot.

Why is it that the product groups get to have all of the fun?  I see MVPs all
the time for XP and for Server and for IIS and for SQL, but where are the
MVPs for System Builders?  They tell me there cannot be an MVP group for a
"Program", only for products because there would not ...

I have a Dell Dimension 8400 with a single SATA hard drive.
I want to install a second hard drive, & I want to use a 120 Gb *ATA* hard
drive I have lying around for this purpose.

I cannot get my CD-RW drive to burn files any more.  All
of a sudden, neither Nero, WIndows media Player nor WinXP

Hi I am trying to remove some programs that I no longer need and I receive
error messages basically that they can not be removed they are Anti-virus
porgrams that I downloaded from the internet and I can't get rid of them. The
programs are interfering with my current Anti- virus ...

I am adding a 160 gigabyte harddrive to my HP Pavilion 6465 desktop
and would prefer that the whole drive is recognized.  Do I need to
update my bios and/or update XP to include SP2?

I have an external hard drive running on XP SP2 which I originally formatted
in NTFS. My daughter now wishes to use it at college on a Mac which I
understand will only work with FAT32. I followed the undernoted procedure to

In place of alphabet k, - (hyphen) is typed in the monitor. Keyboard is
alright as it works properly with other pc's.
Any keyboard attached to this pc types - (hyphen) instead of k, which shows
that problem is not keyboard but something else.

My system has been working fine until today - when my DVD drive disappeared.  
It doesn't appear in 'my computer' and I am unable to install it.  It is as
if the computer no longer sees the drive.

I wanted to restore my computer XPpro Sp2 to an earlier state and I keep
 getting the message " Your computer cannot be restored to..."  I have
tried 4 dates and allways the same reply.
I haven't had this problem before so any help would be most appreciated.
