It takes for ever for my network printer to print, or better yet, for the
job to get to the printer. Also, once when the printing is done, it takes
quite a while for the PRINT box to disappear.
Just one note, the printer does go through a Linksys router.

I've a Compaq Pressario PC with Windows XP Home Edition (OEM). The system
came with one CD read drive. I want to install a Sony CD Read/Write drive.
1. On trying installing the drive, Windows explorer didn't detect the drive.
2. The CMOS setup detected the CD drive.

I have recently installed sp2 and now when the computer is turned off the
