Je cherche un moyen de changer d'IRQ pour certain de mes peripheriques car la carte graphique, le concentratuer USB et Firewire partage l'IRQ 9 et j'ai des problemes avec mon modem ADSL sur port USB... Any Ideas ?

Updated the bios and new ribbon cable installed and bios immediately detected my 160 gig drive.Created partitions and started the format to NFTS but after 2 hours format had not proceeded beyond 0 per cent.Shut down and now,bios does not see the drive.how do I proceed?

Currently, i have 2 paralled ATA disks. 40 GB for windows & other applications and 80 GB for data. Can i use a new SATA disk instead of this 80 GB with a 40 GB parallel ATA disk? Regards, Rohit

I am trying to boot in Dos mode, either using a Ghost generated disk, or a system disk created in Win XP. Either way, I can not see the hard drives properly. I can´t access them via the drive letters, for instance. What is happening? How can I correct this?

A fairly new 200 gig external firewire hard drive was working fine in my daughter's laptop (win xp pro) she lent it to a friend to retreive some files and the friend got some error messages..now on my daughter's laptop she gets "disk structure is corrupted and unreadable"

I'm trying to install XP with SP1a (also tried XP with SP2) and I'm getting a bunch of errors Sometimes it tells me that XP can not format the drive in a new partition and if it gets past this point then it fails to copy some of the files.
