I am trying to find out if Windows XP would support an external USB/Firewire drive enclosure -- not just as external storage, but also would allow me to do RAID-1 (or RAID-0+1 or RAID-5)... Any success stories? How would one go about configuring it?

I have a DVD writer with the CD writer built in, not a single problem when burning DVD's, but every time I try to use any software Nero, Roxio etc, the cd just will not burn, doesnt even start. It gets to the point where all files are cached then nada, nothing....

I have the Microsoft optical cordless mouse. When the batteries run low it just stops & you get no warning that this is going to happen. Even though the cursor won't move the red light on bottom continues to flash. Is this normal?
