Microsoft Office 2003 Professional locks up my computer or causes the
computer to suddenly reboot after a few minutes of use.  I have already done
the unistall/reinstall.
When it happens, it is usually when I select a menu option, but not always.

I have installed xp home version on a new 40 gig hard
drive and after doing so my drive letters are not right.
hard drive should be Local Disk C Instead it is E. CD rom
drive and Zip Drive is also wrong. Any Suggestions? thanks

I have had the pleasure of being given the project of fixing our
Scanner PC's.  We run a Kodax DS 7500 scanner connected to a pc running
Win 95 via an Adrenalin 1700 s Kofax card.  the program that does our
scanning is a third party software program which does some barcode

Daughter's Samsung V20 (XPHE, SP2 ) screen has started going red all over.
On initial power-up (battery or mains) the blank screen is totally red.

Just installed a new Geoforce 9550 256m card.  On high end 3D games I get
all kinds of color artifacting.  Happens on Call of Duty, Half Life 2,Doom3.
Any way you can correct this.  All updated drivers installed..

   Can anyone tell me the name of the program you run to check the hardware
compatibility on a Win XP machine.  I've used it before but can't remember
the name  :(

My scroll wheel won't work in several programs I use, written by a major Wall
Street Firm.  It works fine in many other aps.  It's a new Dell machine, XP
pro, sp2, usb mouse.  Their support wants me to roll back from 5.1 driver to
4.1 and say that will do the trick.  ...

I have added 300gb external hard drive that is NFTS files but internal hard
drive is FAT32 files.  Can I change the NFTS files to FAT32?  I would

My cd and dvd drives will not show up under My Computer!  I have tried
uninstalling and everything.  It says that the drivers are corrupt or

I need to allow printer installation on Windows XP and 2000 Pro laptops
without giving local admin or power user rights... is this possible?

What happen is that when I turn on my computer all it displays a "No Signal"
sign, it was working ok. What I'm guessing is that there is a problem with
the video card, Am I right?
