We recently had almost all of our computers stop seeing USB flash drives under my computer. It was recognized by the computer and we did change the drive letter assignment and that worked fine, but why did this suddenly happen?

I tryed to put my pc back to factory settings and now when i turn on my pc i have 2 operating systems to choose from. 1 of them is fine but i cant get the other 2 work, this is the 1 i want to get rid of but dont know how! can anyone help me!

Win XP Pro I have a CD drive and DVD RW drive but neither autorun when a disk is inserted. I have set all properties as if the drives should run but after inserting the disk and hearing the drive spin, nothing happens.
