I have a USB SD card reader connected to my Windows XP Pro (SP2) system.  
When I Explore the SD card, the names of the files and folders on the card
all contain illegal file/folder characters (e.g., / \, etc.), I believe the

pcworld a couple of years back.it originaly had windows millenium installed.

My recycle bin seems to be currupted on two of my eight drives. I have SP2
and all current updates, So how di I get this fixed? I have tried repair
options from the XP disk but didn't want to loose my data so never did a full

I have a PC that is really running me around. The computer can see
the CD player and when trying to open or look into the CD, you can see
the CD player read light flickering. The problem is that it does not

Yesterday I installed a new IDE 160gb HD on a Celeron 733 computer.
However, when I installed WindowsXP, the setup only formated my HD to
approx. 131000mb (~128gb)...
Why do I have this lost of space?  Is it because it's an older computer?
