I've had a problem which is driving me nuts. It all started about 2 weeks ago when I'd occasionally get an error in the Event Viewer that would say: Event ID 55, "The file system structure on the disk is corrupt and unusable. Please run the chkdsk utility on the volume C:."

When i try to install programs or some demos i get an error message during setup that says "error occured during a seek operation" and i need this program to work so the dll for a piece of hardware will work....any help thanks in advance.

Hi, I have the Asus P4R800-V deluxe mboard, and and a sony digital 8 camera with dv out connected. (firewire-IEEE1394 cable). Windows Xp pro cannot see the camera, it's like they're never connected. The camera is on, (player mode), there are no special options
