drivers supplyed with my motherboard. I have installed the on-bored LAN etc
but what advantages do i get from installing the chipset drivers??

My R/W cd drive refuses to open (both manualy or by software eject).  When I
uninstall it then do a restart it will operate fine.  Later, without any use
by me it returns to not allowing it opening again. Can anyone give me an
idea to what is going on or solution as how to fix ...

I was hoping somebody could fill me in on a clean way to "un-bluetooth"

bascially I had tried out a bluetooth mouse that used a usb bluetooth
dongle, and I've decided I'd rather have a cable than deal with the

As we are rolling out XP Pro and replacing Windows 98, printing to labels
and forms are getting out of alignment.
Different apps and printers are doing the same thing, everything was fine in
Windows 98, now with XP extra blank lines are inserted throwing off the

When I try to burn cd, blank cd isn't recognized in cd burner. With any other

I was wondering if there is a way to force Drives to keep a certain letter
all the time.  I previously had 4 partitions for hard drives, C:, D:, E:,
and F:, then two CD drives, G: and H:.  I recently reformatted the
partition so I could dual boot Redhat from it so it disappeared ...

I had to reformat my system and after every thing was installed I noticed in
My Computer that my Sony DW-22A shows up as a cd-rom drive.  I've tried
uninstalling and rebooting to no avail.  It stays the same.  Is there a way

Suddenly, my usb thumb drive is not working on 1 system.  I hear the sound
when plugged in and can see the icon in the task bar to 'safely remove' it.
Rebooting hasn't worked either.
I removed the driver and then inserted the drive and did get the 'installing

My buddy gave me his computer to look at, cause it's not booting...Plus, it
beeps like an English cop car, even after it gets turned off...I took out
the CPU to see if it was fried, but it looks fine...

I'm running XP Home SP1.  In the last week or so I have been experiencing
severe hardware problems. Basically my machine will freeze and then I get the
message 'Primary Slave Fail'
Any ideas please?

I updated to windows xp a while ago and have not been able to use my 3 1/2
floppy since. I also put in a new hard drive at the same time as the update.
Is there a file I need to download or something??
