Well, it's been a long time since I've worried about IRQs, but here's

I was formatting one of my hard drives when the computer froze, I re-booted
it and when it was back the "I" drive had disappeared.  My first step when I
have a problem is the do a system restore, it told me it cannot restore
anything on the "I" drive as it's been turned off.

I have a Toshiba M35. When I first bought it, it was supposed to have 80GB
hard drive but it turned out to be only 74.4! Well, I understood why is that
and I can live with it. But now I have another problem! When I check my C
drive it says that free space is 36.1GB and total size ...

i have a maxtor hard drive that will not get recognized by xp pro.
i used to have it internally in an xp home machine, and i have files on it i
want to back up.
