There are gizmos on the market that allow one monitor to be shared between 2 systems. I've got space problems at the moment and this might be a solution. Has anyone used this set up and had any problems? RoS

I recently installed a 2nd monitor on my PC. Monitor #1 is the 'main' monitor, while #2 is the 'extended' monitor. Win-Xp Pro a Nvidia FX5700 video card., 1 DVI input and 1 analog input. Monitor #1 is Analog, #2 is the digital one (DVI)

Over the years with XP, I have had several monitors, printers, video cards and so forth. When I replaced them, some I uninstalled via the device manager and some I didn't and that leads to the questions. Did uninstalling through the device manager remove the drivers?

Every time I turn on my laptop the "Found New Hardward" bubble pops up and then the wizard pops up. I have no idea what it is trying to install and even though I check the box that says "Don't ask me again to install is hardware", it does...EVERY TIME!
