My system is set up for either RAID 0 or 1 with 320gb (160x2 SATA.  It
is a WinXP MCE2005 machine.  Right now I have it on a RAID 1
configuration.  I would like to un-RAID it and just have two separate
drives. Inorder to do this are there any switching of cables required?

Has anyone else tried formatting a DVD_R (non recordable) disc using the

I accidentally started reformatting the drive in my laptop looking for
tools to fix the driver for my cd-rw, like chkdsk or others. It did 10%
as soon as i pressed the button. I know i am very dumb. I think the file
system is messed up. I tried chkdsk /r , fixboot, and fixmbr. ...

When I try to write new files to my CD, the wizard tells me the disk (new
and unused) cannot be written to.  Have been doing it successfully in the
past.  Is there a setting somewhere on my XP system that can cure this?
