Is it possible to control who can install hardware on a XP computer? For
example if you want to stop users from using a USB memory stick but
administrators will be able to do it.

I just installed a fresh NEC DVD dual layer drive.
I simply tried to play the movie "Meet the Fockers" and got this error:

    I am having problems with the USB ports on my PC, when I attach a USB

my p4 2.0ghz, 512ram PC has got 40g hard drive when I got it 3 years ago, I

The other day I ran into a bit of a problem. First of all I got a
message which stated that my "D" or storage drive needed to be
reformatted so I did so. Now whenever I start windows it either just
keeps loading without actually logging in to wondows and then

I have not been able to access data on my DVD and CDRW disks.
They appear to be installed correctly and are shown as present under My
Computer and in Device Manager.

The BIOS has hibernation support but after this installation I don't have

I know that if a Motherboard is replaced by a different Motherboard,
WindowsXp can not recovery and a new install is required.
Will WindowsXP (SP I and SP II) recovery if I swap-out my P4 2.4 GHz CPU for
