Windows XP Home Edition, Tried to install SP2, Did not
work~ First computer was coming up with blue screen saying

I cannot access my Yamaha CDRW Drive in Windows XP with a normal start-up.  
When I enter Safe Mode - I can read CDs with the drive with no problems.
I updated the firmware from Yamaha's web site.  I still have the same issue?

I have tried to install a new FDD on my PC. However, the green light always
remain on and when I try to access the floppy it asks to insert disk,
