I cannot access my Yamaha CDRW Drive in Windows XP with a normal start-up.  
When I enter Safe Mode - I can read CDs with the drive with no problems.
I updated the firmware from Yamaha's web site.  I still have the same issue?
Any suggestions?

I installed a new sound card.  Used the CD-Rom to install.  after
installation the sound card worked but the CD_ROM stoped reading any cd's.  I

New computer; after two weeks, fan would come on after about 10 minutes, then
gradually become louder and louder.  Then stays on.  Doesn't feel too hot.

I have my Windows XP Pro setup and running ok on a RAID 0 configuration (2
seagate 80gb barracudas).
