Here's my situation:
I decided to replace my motherboard and processor after the motherboard
went.  I also had a WD 160 GB drive that I wanted to install.  At the
time, I had XP installed on a 250 GB Maxtor.

his pci rockwell modem used to work fine on his previous setup...
unfortunately, xp didn't recognize it...

I'm trying to fix the problem with my HP Pavillion 751.
It has a drive D dvd and a drive E CD Rom.
When I put a disk in it gives a message: "please insert a disk in Drive E"
(doesn't detect it)

The problem I have is that my toshiba dvd-rom drive recently will not
read/recognise/play any form of dvd. including: new retail dvd's, 'back-up'
copies of dvd's, magasine cover disks etc..

What is the best proper care for cleaning DVD's?
Also, what would be the best way for storing them? How reliable are sleeve
cases?

I am setting up a small P2P network (6 PCs running XP Pro) for my local
