Does multiple formats on a hard drive shorten the life of the hard disk?  How
about deleting partitions?

Just installed new printer Lexmark 5200 series, instructions said to cancel
all Wizards and use the CD from Lexmark, done that now keep getting popup

When I insert blank cds into the cd drive, it doesn't seem to be able to read
them. The drive works fine with normal cds, it is only when I insert a blank
CD that I have this problem. Is my cd drive stuffed? Should I get it cleaned?

ive just rebooted my computer i went to instal my sound card and when it
restarted my computer my disk drives had vanished ive uninstalled them and
reinstalled but the same code 39 keeps poping up for it now i cant add any
drivers as i have no disk drives help

Hi there! My DVD/CD-R drive suddenly stopped reading. No matter what type of
disc I insert the device cannot read it and says the disc drive is empty.
Checked for any driver updates, but apparently I am using the most late
driver. I am using Windows XP2 .....dont know what could ...

After taking out an internal zip drive (G:) i have installed many devices
including removable storage, hard drive and external memory on digital
camera. But on My computer these show up as "ZIP Drive (G:)".
How do i remove this or remove the name?
