I have an external USB 2, 2.5" hard disk, however when I connect it to my USB
port XP detects 'a generic drive' and that it is connected however I cannot
see the drive listed when I go to my computer, therefore I cannot acces it.

I have put together a new system (Asus A8N-Sli Deluxe) that has support for
sata drives along with raid. I’m using the sata feature which has 4 slots
sata 1 thru sata 4.
The bios see’s the drives and windows see’s the drives but it will not boot

It seems like one problem got solved and now I have another one.
I wanted to take some pictures I downloaded to my c drive and burn them onto

I have been having trouble with the CD Rom Drive.
I have a DVD/CDR (Primary master)  and a CD Rom as a secondary slave. When I
put a CD in the CD Rom I double click the icon but get a message: "put a

I have a parallel port HP OfficeJet R80 that was working fine in Windows
2000.  Then I upgraded to XP (yes, I deleted the old drivers).  Now, every
24 hours or so, the printer seems to disconnect.  It looks like it is
online, but the jobs remain in the queue with an "error" status.  ...
