Strange problem:
before: Athlon XP 1400 GHz ASUS A7A266 e XP SP1 ou SP2 Ingles + vanilla 350W
power
After: AMD64 3000+ ABIT NF8 XP SP2 PT_BR + good 350W Seventeen

I have an usb extension cable that works like an usb hub.
When I connect it at an Windows XP machine, the windows doesn´t recognize it
(Unknow Device), but when I connect it to an Windows 2000 machine, it is
recognized as Generic USB hub

HOW DO I FIND OUT WHERE THE PROGRAM IS ON MY LAP TOP  FOR THE DVD DECODER

Is there a not so painful way to delete IE 6 off an XP machine. I hav
done research that requires registry hacks and I would like to know i
there is just an easier way

they're brand new, i've connected them properly and they're turned on but
there's no sound coming from them.. do i have to do something on the computer

is there any way to fix this? i went into bios and enabled everything. the
computer is not even registering that there is something in the usb port. i
know the camera i plug in is getting a signal because the lights flash. i
plugged it into my mom's computer and it showed up ...

The Problem
Windows XP Service pack 2 fails to detect multiple IEEE 1394b devices
properly.

A friend has come to me with a problem on his Laptop that has Windows XP
Home Edition installed on it. He recently upgraded his laptop with some
more RAM, and ever since he has not been able to get past the 'Welcome'
screen on boot up (even when we put the old ram back in).

I was wondering if a "combo" PCI adapter incorporating an USB2.0, IEEE 1394,
and a UATA-133 IDE controller, would function more efficiently than three
