Issues:
1. I can play DVD movies on my computer.  The music is usually loud but the
voices can hardly be heard.  
2. The sound on the DVD is higher pitched (faster) than the original sound.  

Whenever I leave a CD-ROM in the CD drive for a length of time (for example:
if I leave my Microsoft Streets and Trips CD-ROM in the CD drive overnight),
when I try to eject the CD-ROM, the CD tray will not open.  I have tried
troubleshooting, but I still have not found a ...

My monitor has thin grey lines going thru everything, what would cause this
and how do I fix this problem.  This just started this morning.

after a virus atack my computer works wery slowly, it is because the ide
settings are set to pio although i selected "use DMA if available" everything
were all right before the atack it worked on DMA. how can i fix this problem?

I need to change the policies for the Administrator account.  In XP pro you
have the local security policy editor.  Home doesn't have it or at least I
can't find it.

I want to do weekly manual drag and drop backups to my DVD-RW drive (using

Question:  Do I have to reformat my DVD-RW disc each time I want to do new

I have a homebuilt pc in my garage, with a soyo k7vempro motherboard,
running windows xp. It is a pretty lean machine, with only Sonar

i have nero 6 installed and my read buffer goes from 100 down to 0 and
