I bought a DVD Writer (Plextor PX-716A).
After installation found that I can play a DVD but there is no sound. It
makes no difference if it's an original or a copy. If I play an audio CD in
my DVD drive the sound is ok. Does anybody have an idee. Thanks

My players read only DVD burned with DVD Decrypter ( absolutely no with NERO).
I want to burn a DVD media including a few file avi (DIVX).

every time i try and empty my recycle bin or delete anything from m
external hard drives i keep getting this error message cannot read fro

Well the subject is kind of self explanatory...ummm all i did was take out a
dvd-rw disk while it was burning on nero and it messed up...kind of stupid i

I bought a hard-drive which connects through USB. Although it works fine
with Windows 2000 and Millennium, on my Windows XP Professional computer I
get this error:

I have 3 IBM P4's that are quite slow.
The IBM's are P4 256 Mb ram XP Pro.
On further investigation we noticed that the CPU Fan would stop when
XP loaded up. We gave the OS a good workout loading up a lot of apps

My dell 8200 XP/SP2 has the CD/DVD drive listed under "Unknown" category
within System/Hardware/Device Manager.  It works fine, but aside from
re-installing XP from scratch, is there a way to fix this problem?
