I would like to see my BIOS bootup messages - system information, SMART hard
drive report, device enumeration, etc.
The problem is that Windows XP SP2 jumps in, aborts the display of BIOS
bootup messages, and displays its own screens or messages.

I have a Maxtor HD of 250MB, of which only the first 137GB are recognised
when running the Recovery Console. I can find no advice on Maxtor's
website, and the only other info relating to large HD limitations relates
to running in a fully booted Windows

I removed some programs from my pc that were not being used, when I opened

tried a system restore on every point available and it wont allow me to

I've found out the hardway that my firewire connection on one of my

Here's the scenario:
I put a CD-RW disc into a CD-RW drive and erase the disc using the Writing
Wizard. I then burn new files onto the disc using the Writing Wizard. After
