I have chosen Intel 915 GAV mobo for my PC that I am building. But I heard it comes as OEM product and not the boxed one. I read few discussion regarding OEM vs boxed. I guess, OEM comes without "Intel Inside" sticker :-) and with less warrenty. I am confused. What do I do

I added 512mb of memory to my Toshiba Tecra TE2300 laptop and rebooted. I can't open any programs. The task manager lists explorer.exe as taking 99% of mmory but it never goes away. I removed the memory and rebooted but the problem still persists. Any ideas how to fix this?

The Microsoft Fingerprint Reader seems to work with only the IE browser. Should I be surprised? Is it true or is there something I can do to make it work with Mozilla? It works on the other API's I have tried, but I haven't tested all of the ones I use as yet.

i am trying to connect a serial device (gps) to my xp laptop USB port but xp won't even recogize the cable. this cable worked just fine on windows me. I've tried a couple of different drivers manually but nothing works and xp can't find anything on its own. thanks for any help.

Using Win XP SP2 with drives formatted in NTFS. Disk 1 is divided into two partitions each approx 19GB, using the size manager in Powerdesk 6 shows 4.65Gb free, 10.5Gb used with a drive capacity of 18.8 Gb. This leaves around 3.7Gb unaccounted for.
