I am considering purchasing one of the new dual Xeon workstations that has
the 2 cpu's on one chip, effectively looking like 4 processors. Does XP Pro
run on this or would this require something special?

i left my pc on in the evening, and in the morning found the following:
the picture on the screen is scrambled, impossible to read or do
anything, and then it switches off and restarts automatically, and
continues this off and on with scrambled pixel, indefinitely. switched

I just installed a new motherboard ASUS A7N8X-X and reinstalled windows xp
pro and then SP2.
I noticed that although I could see my DVD/CD Burner (Liteon SOHW-812S) on
the BIOS boot up page, when windows was fully booted, the drive doesn't show

Hoping for some suggestions.  The bios isn't that old (2001)?
XP Pro pc with periodic stop errors on shutdown - will post exact code next

I need to send a USB pen to a client. This USB contains files that must
be read and copied but should not be modified or removed.
Are there any utilities that I should look at as to accomplish this
(possibly freeware !).

I am trying to install a Lexmark Z515 printer on my computer and I keep
getting a message about USB Printer Support -- can't remember the wording but
anyway it won't let me continue do I need to do anything like enabling the
USB ports? Or is there something else I should be doing
