I am currently experiencing a black screen at startup. It doesn't even
display the POST. The power button light on the monitor goes from green to
orange (standby) and the message "power saving mode" appears within a second
or two from booting the PC.

I have an LG DVD Multi Recorder and installed the DVD-RAM Driver software
that came with it. Now, when I try to format DVD's (or CD's for that
matter...) with DVDForm I get the following text in the Drive field: "<E:>
