Hello, and thanks in advance.
Somewhere along the way, Windows XP stopped recognizing blank CDs and won't
let me burn files onto CD-R or CD-RW using Explorer. I can burn audio CDs
just fine through Windows Media Player and downloaded books through Audible,
CD-Rom won't read from 80 min/700 MB CDs30 Aug 2005 00:40 GMT4
I have a CD-Rom and CD-R Burner on my Windows XP Pro (SP2) machine. The CD
burner will burn data to a 70 min/800 MB CD (and that CD can be read with no
problems on other computers), but neither the CD-Rom nor the CD burner will
read any 80 min/700 MB CD, even the ones it burned ...

After hardware upgrades, my custom XP Professional audio workstation will not
allow me to re-install my Digigram VX-442 audio card driver or on-board audio.

recently we had power failure and when I turned my computer back on, my bios
came up.I tryed to exit out but some how disconnected or turned off my second

Hello, I have a Compaq Presario 5000 with an Intel 82815 motherboard.
It has an AGP port on it, but when I put my Geforce 2mx400 in there,
it doesn’t recognize anything.  (The reason I’m doing this is

I'm having trouble installing drivers for a firewire controller card in
my new machine.
The card is recycled from my previous machine. In that machine, it
showed up as the "VIA OHCI compliant IEEE 1394 controller" from

I received a reply from Sandisk (after 2 weeks of try this and that) with a
solution - at least for me.
Here is the registry edit:

I have a set of USB ports on the front of my machine and another set on
the back. My ports on the back work fine and if i plug in my 2 pen
drives in it works OK. But if I plug them in the front I get the error

I currently have a basic cd drive installed, I installed a 2nd dvd rw drive
as the slave, when I go under device manager it is showing my original drive
but is not seeing my dvd drive
