I have a USB cellphone for which every time I connect it to my
computer, reinstalls the drivers.  It also happens to install what
would appear to be a Virtual comport... but every time it reinstalls
the drivers, instead of using the same com port number as before, it

Until yesterday my screen started to vibrate. I thought it was a Video Card
problem, but I tested the screen on an other computer and it does the same. I
also have changed update frequency from 60 Hz to 70 Hz, 72 Hz, 75 Hz and 85
Hz; nothing works.

I have a network or XP PCs, one of them with a Brother printer
attached. For the last few months the printer will not work (networked
PCs say the printer cannot be reached) unless the print server PC (as
we call it) has the printer window open (Start-Printers and Faxes, and

I have a Hp Pavillion laptop and when I start the laptop, it show the HP
symbol and then the screen goes black. I have to press f1 for it continue.

I'm trying to get the clicks to work on a brand new Microsoft wireless
optical notebook mouse on a Thinkpad T42 running XP Professional. Apparently,
there are some known issues according to article 321122. I followed all the
steps described in it but the clicks still don't work.

When I tried to power on my pc this morning, I got a series of 6 or 7 beeps
the first 2 times and my pc didn't turn on. The third try did turn it on.
What does this mean? Is it indications of serious problems?

This is a wireless keyboard and mouse. bought 3 months ago. worked great
until 3 days ago.. the mouse if you stop scrolling for 15 seconds it will
freeze and you have to push left mouse button (Bad) or you can scroll the
