Do you think it is safe if I make the Free Space into one larg Extended Partition :?: I have never been faced with this before so wonder if I make the entire 177gb drive an extended partition if al my files on it will still be there :?

I'm trying to install WinXP on a Pentium III with 8 GB of HD. The problem is that the PC -after the first reboot during the installation- is blocked. The keyboard doesn't work anymore.. and I am compel to reboot from the PC's button.

I have a laptop with raid controller. When i trying to install Winxp i have to install raid drivers first so WinXp can recon my HD, problem is drivers have to be on floppy disk and i dont have that i my laptop. can it be done without floppy drive ?
