I'm using XP Home SP 1.  I have an old HP scanner.  I downloaded a
driver for it from an online site (not HP, which doesn't have it
available anymore).  How do I install the driver?

I installed an new DVD/CD writer (Pioneer DVR-109), and I cannot get autoplay
to work for music CDs and CD-ROMs (I have not yet tried a DVD).  I have
changed the registry setting to "95", but it has not helped.  My windows xp
is fully updated.  Any suggestions?

whenever i have to reboot my system the pc doesnt find my secondary
slave but if i power down then back on again it re appears. i am

This isn't related specifically to XP I don't think, but I'm wondering
*approx* how much power (from the wall) is typically used by an
'average' PC and monitor. By average I mean no fancy video card or

   I am looking for a Combo USB2.0 and Sata card tha takes up one slot in
the motherboard that has 4 internal sata and at least 6 USB 2.0 ports that
