Recently I changed my operating system from xp home to xp
professional.  Since I did that i've had a few little

I have a Sony Laptop PCG-GRT25F and my video card is only of 64 MB and
I know that it's imposible to change de video card of a laptop.
My question is: It's posible to have a external video card? is there

all of a sudden my computer screen went black - but the green light wa
still on the monitor and on my tower - i turn of the computer an

The GSA-4081B DVD+RW drive gave me a tremendous amount of trouble
recognizing DVD+/-RW discs with Windows XP.   I swapped a LiteOn 1673
into XP and the system was stable.

Hi, im thinking of getting a laptop and i want to clear up my fine desk by
removing the BIG BIG clumsy old CRT-screen i have now. But i still want to be

i have bought a packard bell computer. when i tried to install my web cam, it
gives a message saying no video hardware. i thought all comps came with this
already installed, how do i get the hardware to install it for free as i

I have a remote network share, mapped under G: on my Windows XP. When I
insert my USB stick, it mounts under B: in FDD-mode, but in HDD-mode it
mounts as G:. Therefore I cannot see it. How can this be solved?

I've installed token ring cards in 5 pc's for a client. They show up as
'disabled' in network properties and when i try to enable them i get
the error message 'connection failed'
I can input static IP details for them & in device manager it shows the

I have a Zoom 2949L ext. voice-modem which worked under Win98se. I upgraded
to winXPpro, reinstalled the modem driver (for winXP) but now my application
says that the device does not support voice extension.
