I just got my new Inspiron 6000 2 days ago and i can't figure out how to get
it to read my SD card from my pentax digital camera.
Dell have provided no documentation for it and google turned up a blank.

I am running Windows XP Pro. My original setup was:
Primary Master: 200 GB Magnetic Data Technologies (C:)
Primary Slave: 120 GB Western Digital hard drive in a removeable caddy (E:)
Secondary Master: Memorex DVD Burner (D:)

Is there an alternative to recovery console? It crashes actually inside
recovery console with "REGISTRY_ERROR" before you get a chance to fix
it. When attempting to boot normally, the System registry is declared
corrupt. Last Known Good doesn't work, or any other options.

tried to back up("burn") some files onto a cd but it is not recognizing when
I put a blank cd in the drive.  Also, in properties it shows that the drive
is full...this is with the blank cd!  Hope someone can help!  Also, same kind
of problem with 3.5 floppy.

i hawe installed win x64 but i cant find my joystick in my gameport, in win
xp i could choos from an list, but  in win x64 there are no list. are there

i upgraded from windows 98se to windows xp pro and now the modem part of my
pci card works but the audio part pulls up the error message 12 not enough
resources.....i have tried to disable every other function on the card like

External DVD/CD Burners do not work with DVD's
I have two DVD Burners;
1.) TDK 440n External (Multiformat)- about 1 year old
2.) NEC ND-3520A 16x Dual Layer DVD+RW/-RW CD R-RW - brand new

I have been reading about this Hiberfil.sys file in this NG, but I don't
seem to have one on my computer, yet it hibernates fine.
Is this not true when you are using 32-bit file system for Windows XP?

I've got an Ethernet Network Card that seems to give me problems on
certain occasions:
- Playing Internet Checkers or any other online game crashes my
computer when pressing play

I have an Asus A8N-SLi Deluxe mobo, 4 GB of OCZ PC3200 and Windows XP Pro
SP1.  The mobo reports the amount of physical memory correctly.  XP System
Information and two utilities (Everest Home and Aida32) report 2.75 GB of
physical memory.
