I want to add a Digi box to my PC and I want to use Teletext with it.  The
Hauppauge Nova-T-USB2 looks like a good and stylish box.  Looking for this
on-line it is advertised as supporting Teletext, however Octobers edition of
PC Answers magazine claims that Teletext doesn't work ...

I recently installed a new DVDRW and now neither my new
DVDRW or my previously installed CDRW show up. When I
reboot it tells me that it has found new hardware for

so when i put a cd into the drive half of the time it doesnt spin or read
it....and the other half it does...so i kno it cant be the lazer thats
busted...its a cd/dvd player...and i dont think that its switching back and
forth between the two when needed...is there anythin i can ...

I have Media Centre installed on a shuttle box here, problem started a few
months back when the keyboard spacebar has stopped working. Easy I said and
swapped out the keyboard with another USB model - SAME problem.
Ok so then I tried a PS2 keyboard in its usual port and same ...

This computer is running fine. However, yesterday, when I was doing my
regular reading (purely for recreational purposes) of the Event Viewer I
came across this one:

fdisk sees 80GB 2nd hard drive only as 10 GB.  I want to format it as FAT32
so I can put GHOST image on it and accesss it in emergency by booting on
floppy.  1st drive is NTFS & only allows NTFS when I use Disk Manager to
create partition on 2nd drive.

My client runs Windows XP Professional.  We bought a new Memorex USB 1GB
Thumb Drive (sometimes called a memory key, jump drive, etc).  The unit
worked out of the box.  Later we installed a Maxtor External USB hard drive
and that worked fine.  Two weeks later I put in the thumb ...

As I mentioned here before I was about to move my hd from my old
computer (Running windows XP Pro) to my new computer (running Windows
XP Pro).
The HD was a slave HD before so I didn't see any need to change the

i have a USB hard drive (250gig) with an external power supply.
Running on WinXP.
The drive works fine. Except, it seems to loose its connection to the
computer from time to time.  It then immediately connects again to the

Just installed the new Intellipoint software - 5.4 - and my wireless
Intellimouse Explorer 2.0 mouse no longer has functionality with all 5
