Situation: I have a Dell 2300 with XP SP2 operating system. There is a 40G boot drive in the chassis (which only has space for one drive). I also have a 80G WD drive in a USB enclosure. I recently purchased a Seagate 200G drive.

Its scrolls down normally, but scrolls up uncontrollably fast. If I roll the scroll wheel toward me very slowly I can see the window scrolling down a line at a time. If I roll it away from me very slowly I can see the window scrolling up a page at a time!

Recently I had some problems with my PC that made me want to run Norton Disk Doctor to analyze my hard drive. When I attempt to do so, I get an error message that says "The operating system, or another process, currently has exclusive access to the drive, or some of its files."

My ThinkPad T41 w/XP Pro SP2 has lost capability to suspend and hibernate. It has latest firmware and drivers, but "hibernate" tab is missing from Power Options, and neither "Suspend" nor "Hibernate" is available in Start-Shutdown menu.
